Mr L. K. R. Denny, Boys’ Vocational Guidance Officer at the Government Youth Centre, has returned to Christchurch.
Mr T. O. Bishop, secretary of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation, arrived by the steamer express from Wellington yesterday. Mr J. B. Cullen, president of the New Zealand Transport Alliance, arrived from the north yesterday.
Mr Lachlan Maclean has been appointed producers’ representative on the New Zealand Meat Producers’ Board in place of Mr J. D. W. Ormond, who has resigned, according to a Gazette notice.—Press Association.
