GIFT PARTIES

Miss' Lo'rna Coote, whose marriage will take place shortly,, was the guest of honour at an enjoyable tea-towel party,held at the home of' Mrs. R.' W. Munro, "Dalmore," Pareora East. The time .was spent in games and competitions, the winners being Mesdames C. Beck, L. Neil, and Misses L. Coote and R. Munro. Songs were "sung by Mesdames L. Neil and R. Depree. Amongst those present were Mesdames R. W. Munro, P. A. Coote, H. Depree, R. Davidson, A. Hoskin, C. Beck, R; Darling, R. Depree, L. Neil,Misses L. Coote, J. Munro, R. Munro, G. Whitticase, I. Hurst, and T. Skudder.
