Shooting—Sydenham Defence Rifle Club's shoot at Redcliffs". Cycling—Canterbury Cash Cycling Club's meeting at-English Park--Gala—Gala and Maori festival at Woodend beach. Sunday. January 1 Service—"United Centennial -Thanksgiving Service in Lancaster Park. Monday, January' 8 Racing—Reefton Jockey Club's meeting at Reefton.
