City and rural workers regret the death of Mr Frank Travers, who was for .16' year's in charge of the engagements branch of the Canterbury Labour Exchange Company. In this position, he came in contact with many workers, and was always ready to give them every assistance. "Teamster" has forwarded the following appreciation to the editor of "The Press":—"The passing of Mr Frank Travers will be-, mourned by many rural and city workers. During a lifetime of faithful service, many are the workers who profited by his kindly advice and practical help. Mr Travers was always ready to help a 'down and out' rehabilitate himself. Rural workers especially will join with me in this appreciation of his labours on their behalf." ,
