TWO-RANGE MATCH AT REDCLIFFS

HIGH STANDARD OF SCORING ■' (By BULLSEYE.) The Sydenham Defence Rifle, Club fired its fourth competition at Re'dcliffs .on Saturday. With brilliant sunshine and only a light easterly wind to-contend with, the conditions were all in, favour of the marksmen, and the scoring throughout was of 'an exceptionally '■ high standard ■- The winner was P. Morgan, who scored" a total of 103 off the rifle, included in which was a possible at 500 yards His score card read: 300 yards. Eleven shots were fired at 300 yards, and 10 shots at 500 yards, with optional sighters at each distance. The following were the results. —

High Scoring High scaring was a feature of the Sydenham Defence Rifle Club's fourth competition at Redcliffs on Saturday. W. Tritt. F. Hodge, and S. O. The runner-up was I. Ford, also of the Wanganui ■ Club. The B grade title was won by W. Howard (Wanganui) with*lßs. and the runnerup was D. R. McKenzie (Christchurch) with 184. He scored only 32 at 600 yards, however, and was counted out by J. Callaghan, also of the Melbourne Club with 35, 34, 33. Another well-known international,. A.
