CHRIST'S COLLEGE OLD BOYS

HEADMASTER’S REFERENCE TO WAR SERVICE Thankfulness that so far no casualties were known to have occurred among Christ’s College old boys on active service was expressed by Mr R. J. Richards, headmaster of the

school, in his address at the prizegiving yesterday. He referred to the many old boys who were serving or who had enlisted in the Army and the Air Force in Britain and ivew Zealand. “Naturally, our thoughts go out to our old boys,” said Mr Richards. “Many have enlisted either in the Special Force or in the Air Force, and some are already serving in the Army and Air Force in Britain. The reports are uncertain, but it appears that one young old boy, E. J. Kain, who left four years ago, performed brilliantly in an air battle in France some weeks ago.”
