"WELLINGTON IN VERSE AND PICTURES"
More than a score of large photographs and almost 20 poems are used effectively in “Wellington in Verse and Picture,” which has just been published, to depict the city in a new light of rugged character and pleasing charm. Apart from the fine plates of the city and its bays, buildings and suburbs, the work ig attractive for poems, specially written, or reproduced, by “Robin Hyde,” Eileen Duggan, Will Lawson, Alan Mulgan, Arthur Adams, C. R. Allen, O. N. Gillespie, John Barr and others. The introduction has been written by the well-known New Zealand journalist, Mr Pat Lawlor.
