PHOTOGRAPHS FOR EXHIBITION

PHASES OF WORK AT TECHNICAL COLLEGE Photographs depicting various phases of work at the Christchurch Technical College are to be forwarded to the Centennial Exhibition for projection in the Education Court, according to a decision made by the College Board last night. A request for the photographs was received from the Director of Education, Mr N. T. Lambournc, and the collection of them was left in the hands of the principal of the college, Dr. D. E. Hansen. The work done by boys from the college who acted as marshals at the metropolitan show was praised in a letter from the secretary of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association, Mr M. E. Lyons. Dr. Hansen said that 15 senior agricultural students had acted as marshals this year, and boys from the cojege had acted as marshals at the sh*w during the last 18 or 19 years. . Reports were received from the examiners in typography and plumbing and satisfaction was expressed at the work of the students.
