In early days there were two hotels In Saltwater Creek. One was a quarter of a mile on the north side of the creek, and was called “North Port,” The other Was on the south side near the bridge and the store. When the railway came to Sefton the town* ship of Saltwater Creek gradually dwindled until to-day there is only the' School left. —IVY GENET (aged 1 ID. 70 YEARS AGO About 70 years ago there was one shop and two' hotels in our district.
