MUSICAL SOCIETY’S CONCERT

♦ For the third subscription concert the Royal Christchurch Musical Society will give Handel’s “Messiah” in the Anglican Cathedral on Friday evening, December 8. On this occasion the soloists chosen are:—Soprano, Master Robert Dodgson, from the Cathedral choir; contralto. Miss Nellie Lowe; tenor, Mr Ernest Rogers and Mr Charles Clarkson will sing the bass part. Mr C. Foster-Browne will be at the organ, and Mr Frederick Bullock will be the conductor. The society’s choir will be assisted by the Cathedral choristers and a full orchestra.
