SUBURBAN ASSOCIATION
GAMES ON SHOW DAY-
The management committee of the Suburban Cricket Association has selected the following players to attend practice at Hagley Park next Tuesday at 5.30 p.m., to enable the selector to pick a team to play against the Canterbury Association team on Show Day;—L. Gordon, E. Vincent. VV. Oliver. D. Mahoney, F. Murray, W. Hadley, D. Moynihan, K. Phillips, H. Schmidt, N. Stokes, S. Cawtheray. M. Heath. J. Weatherhead, W. Hampton, N. Pettit, and H. Berry Players are requested to provide material for practice.
It was decided to arrange two matches for third grade players against Boys’ Association teams on Show Day and to write to the Ashburton Association to endeavour to arrange a match either at Ashburton or Christchurch. Amendments to Draw In the third grade D competition, Waltham will play Beckenham at Waltham No 3 instead of Waltham No. 2 as published, and in the third C grade Halswell must provide stumps in the games against New Brighton and Gadsdens, at Sydenham Park.

DRAW FOR OPENING ROUND The following is the draw for the first round of matches in the Canterbury Women’s Cricket Association's competitions. beginning at 2 p.m. on Saturday;— Seniors—St. Albans v. Beckenham, at Beckenham Park; Mai Moa v. Technical, at Malvern Park. Juniors—St. Albans B v. Hillsborough A. at Hillsborough; Somerfield v. St. Albans A, at Malvern Park; Hillsborough B v. Technical, at Ensor’s road.
