NEW ZEALAND TOYSHNAMEOT GOOD ENTRIES PROMISED The secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association reports that entries are coming in well for the national championships, and nearly all the leading amateurs, with the exception of Anthony Gibbs (the holder of the Bledisloe Cup) will be taking part. Already entries have been received from 26 professionals, including all the well-known players. Entries- close with the secretary of the New Zealand Golf Association to-morrow.
RANGIORA LADIES’ CLUB
The final monthly bogey medal match of the Rangiora Ladies’ Golf Club was held at Rangiora on Saturday. The best scores were:—Senior: Mrs L. Menzies 1 down. Miss N. Morrish 2 down, Mrs F. Tolmie 4 down, Mrs W. Keetley 4 down. -Junior: Mrs Williams 6 down.
WAITIKIRI LADIES’ CLUB
The best cards in a stroke match played yesterday by • the Waitikiri Ladies’ Golf Club were:—Mrs Ballantyne, 115. 36—79; Mrs K. G. Archer, 114, 31—83: Mrs P. R. Climie, 120, 36—84.
