REPORTED LOSS OF POST CHARGE OF SMUGGLING CURRENCY f LONDON; September 29. -The Nazi Minister of National En lightenment and .Propaganda (Dr. F J. Goebbels) has been relieved o his post and has been interned in i sanatorium; The Stockholm correspondent o “Le Petit Parisien” declares that Dr Goebbels is at present interned in « Berlin sanatorium on a charge o smuggling out currency. It is reliably reported that a Swis: employee of the Zurich branch office of Dr. Goebbels’s paper “Der An griff” entered Germany, where he posted 2700 letters addressed to the branch office, ostensibly in reply tc an advertisement.. As a result oi Dr. Goebbels’s order th it letters which were addressed to “Der Angriff” must not be opened, Swiss frontier employees collected the letters in Zurich. They contained 5,000,000 marks. SOUTH AFRICAN IRISH REGIMENT CAPE TOWN, September 30. The first South African Irish Regiment to serve either at home or abroad is being formed.
