To honour their past president, Miss Patricia Wall, whose* marriage will take place to-day, members of the Grail movement held a tea at the Catholic Women’s League rooms, Stewart Dawson’s building. The rooms were" beautifully, decorated with spring flowers, and during the evening all members took part in singing, group dancing, and competi r tionS.
On behalf of the Grail movement, the Rev. Father E. Joyce (spiritual director) wished Miss Wall every happiness in her future life, and presented her with a dinner set. .He assured Miss Wall that although their natural feelings of joy at her happiness were tinged with regret at parting, members were deeply grateful to her for leaving them the priceless heritage of the Grail, which she had been mainly responsible for establishing in ' Christchurch. He paid tribute to the fine qualities of character which had enabled her to bring the movement to its present successful stage of development, and expressed his confidence in the leadership of the new president.
