LIGHTS ON LORRIES
Dissatisfaction with the recent regulation of the Transport Department requiring a blue light on the top of lorries (with large loads was expressed at the annual conference of the South Island Motor Union yesterday. It was decided to recommend that lorries be required to carry lights on the extreme edges of the tray or load, whichever is the wider.
