The kite season Is now on, and you will be.wantIng to make your kite, If, you follow the directions below you will find it quite easy. ' You will need thin strips of wood, and ordinary tough' lunch paper (grease proof). You can buy large sheets of this for a penny or two at any grocery store or a stationer's. This grease-proof paper . can be ornamented in the. way shown below: You will then have a novel kite that will look well as it goes up.. "■■ ••■ . Here are : the directions., follow them ; step by step. '•• 1 and 2: Tie two thin sticks tpgether. at the centre, '."•' '<•' -3: Tie a string about. the ends of the sticks.
MAKE YOUR OWN RITE

6; Draw, a design on half of - the paper,' fold down the dotted line. Trace over on to the other half and colour. ■ :•- ... . 1 7: Cut . out corners. • - ~ ( ; 8; Paste paper to the. kite frame. 9: Tie strings to the kite. - - • 10: Add the tail. •
