The-'support 'of the Opposition in facilitating the passage of a fairly substantial list of estimates at one sitting was promised the Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. P. Fraser) before the House of Representatives went into committee this afternoon to deal with votes of' departmental for the current financial year. Mr Fraser said that in view of the present circumstances, he would like to have the'assistance of the Opposition in passing a fairly heavy: programme of estimates. All of the votes involved in the list related to departments directly. under his , control, as well as those oT which he was . temporarily in charge. ' The Rti -Hon. JT.' G.
