TRAP SHOOTING
CHAMPIONSHIP OF ELLESMERE CLUB of the Ellesmere Gun Club was held under, unpleasant conditions, rain falling during most of the afternoon. Fourteen competed in the shoot, and the winner,was W. Quigley, jun., who put up a very good perforamnce considering that visibility , was affected bv the rain. He scored a possible of 17 birds, and won outright. J. F. Parkin was runner-up .with 15. taking first money in the sweep, while F. L. Graham, W. J. Doyle, and R. W. Jackman, each with, 14 on, shared the rest of the sweep money. ' _There were two flrst-miss-out shoots. The first was won by J. F. Parkin, W H. Winchester, and W. L. Donald with all on at the end of the fourth round. Parkin won the second at the end of round four.
