CONVALESCENCE DURING REST OF SESSION

[From Our Parliamentary Reporter.] WELLINGTON, August 27. After being a patient at Lewisham Hospital for three weeks, the Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) returned to his home at Northland yesterday morning. Mr Savage, who was reported to be looking well, was met at the hospital by two of his oldest friends, the Speaker of the Legislative Coun-

cil, the Hon. M. Fagan, and the Minister for Labour, the Hon. P. C. Webb, who accompanied him. to his home. In spite of the remarkable recovery, he has made since- he underwent a serious operation, at the beginning of August, Mr Savage is not'expected to resume his official duties during the present session of Parliament. He will convalesce at his home.
