OBITUARY
MR J. H, GREENWOOD [From Our.,' Own Reporter.! ' * WESTPORT, August 27. The death occurred this morning of Mr James Horace Greenwood, a former Mayor of Westport and one of the town’s most prominent businessmen. He had been ill for only'a short time. ~ ’ ~ Mr Greenwood was president of the Westport Aero Club-.at the time of his death; and had acted on the Buller Hospital Board, and was chairman of the old Westport. Harbour Board. He was also associated with the Westport Fire Brigade as secretary, and for a time was chairman of the first Westport Fire Board. Mr’ Greenwood was also a Freemason. He was a native of Westport. * . He leaves a widow, one son, Mr Horace Greenwood. and one daughter. Mrs Daily. ~ . ■ • •
