APPEAL MADE TO CZECHS

advantages of union with GERMANY EMPHASISED LONDON, July 18. The Acting-Prime Minister of Czechoslovakia (M. Havelka) appealed to Czechs not to nourish false hopes and listen to those who declared that war would re store Czechoslovakia. He emphasised the advantages of the present union with Germany. The Berlin correspondent of “The Times” states that a German news agency communique states: “Dr. Benes, a bankrupt of one of the political States formed to perpetuate the Versailles Treaty, has returned from a tour of agitation in the United States to settle in London, the rendezvous of many similar broken existences.”
