EXCHANGE OF RAW MATERIALS
BRITISH AND AMERICAN DEAL FIRST SHIPMENT LIKELY IN OCTOBER (BRITISH OFFICIAL WISELB33.) RUGBY, June 25. It is anticipated that the exchange of-American cotton and British rubber, under the first agreement in history for the exchange of Commodities for war stock purposes, will begin on October 1. The United States is hastening empowering legislation. It is announced that negotiations with the Netherlands have broken down, but talks with Belgium are still progressing. The British and American deal has aroused only favourable comment.
