Any time now when the leaves have fallen people who arc troubled with disease on apple trees, pear trees, plum trees, etc., should spray their trees with caustic soda 11b, soan’ jib. or a full pound of soap dissolved in hot water and poured on ton of the caustic soda. This would make 10 gallows of spray. Any mossy trees or trees with rough bark will be better with IJlb of caustic soda and 1J lb of son a This spray should be followed with red oil spray G gallon to make 20 gallons of spray). Mix the oil first in hot, soapy water, and it will make a perfect mixture and the trees will be in perfect order.
