RECITAL BY THE MISSES BLAMIRES
Misses Betty and Vivienne Blamires gave a request recital of music and drama last evening in the Jellicoe Hall. The Misses Blamires were well known in the North Island before they went abroad for four years. The programme, which was heard by a considerable audience of music-lovers, included piano solos and dramatic selections by Betty Blamires, violin solos, and Appalachian folk-songs in costume by Vivienne Blamires, and a piano and violin sonata by Sjogren.
