AT BLENHEIM
Mr and Mrs L. C. Chaytor and Mr and Mrs W. K. Gill gave an enjoyable dance at the Masonic Hall, Blenheim, in honour of their debutante daughters, Misses Jocelyn Chaytor and Ellison Gill. Miss Margaret Moore also made her debut. . The reception room was effectively decorated with coloured streamers and bowls of chrysanthemums and autumn loaves. The supper tables were bright with low bowls of bonfire salvia and ilamc-coloured polyanthus roses. Noel Rose's orchestra supplied the music. Debutantes’ Frocks Miss Jocelyn Chaytor wore a white Mechlin lacc frock over stiffened net and taffeta. The tight-fitting bodice was trimmed with net and finished at the neck with a hoop-shaped brooch of pearls, which had belonged to her groat-great-grandmother. She carried a bouquet of cream roses. Miss Ellison Gill wore a white shadow-lace, frock over white satin, with full skirt and tight-fitting bodice.. She carried a bouquet of cream and pink roses. Miss Margaret Moore’s while frock was of mile, mounted on taffeta, and was made with a full skirt and a tightfitting bodice of fine white lace. She earned a bouquet of cream roses. Mrs Chaylor’s frock was_ of cyclamen and silver brocade, finished with a corsage spray of orchids; Mrs Gill wore a black and rust shot taffeta frock. The Guests Those invited were Mrs J. R.
