WAIPAWA ARRIVES
SMART TRIP FROM FALMOUTH
After a smart trip of 28 days 2 hours 24 minutes actual steaming time, the Shaw Savill and Albion Company's motor-ship Waipawa arrived in the stream on Sunday night from Falmouth, and berthed yesterday morning. The vessel had moderate to fine weather on the voyage out, and covered the distance of 11,152 miles at an average speed of 1(1.53 knots, the average daily run being 392.7 miles. The vessel has KOnn lons of cargo for discharge at LyHelton, Port Chalmers, and Wellington, and will proceed to Australia to load.
FISCUS FOR HUNKERS
En route from Freeport, United States, to Geelong, the British steamer Fi.scus has advised that she will arrive at Auckland to-morrow for bunkers. She cleared Freeport on April 12.
JAMES COOK LEAVES SYDNEY
Holm and Company have received advice that the Sleigh Line steamer James Cook loft Sydney last Wednesday for Wellington, Auckland, Whangarei, and Greymouth. She is due at Wellington to-day.
