After anonymous threats had heen received at a nearby Royal Air Force airport a big blaze occurred at an Army ordnance depot near Nottingham last night. Petrol tanks burst, one big shed was destroyed. The other was saved. It is officially stated that no vehicles were damaged, and a big number of tyres was raved.
The depot is one of the chief distributing centres for Army cars.
