MODEL YACHTING
The Chrlitchurch Model Yacht Club flniahed the nineteenth club race of the season, -which was started on April 1 and could not finish for lack of wind, on Saturday at Victoria Lake. The wind was a light north-easter, and 11 boats competed. Following were the results:— First Heat—J. Matthew’s Alpha (handicap 6mln 30scc) 1, B. Wall’s Sure (4min flOsccJ 2, H. E. Laycock's Antony (7mln) 3. R. Reid’s Banshee (3mnl lOsec) 4. R. C. Munro’s Dolphin (scr) 5. Time, 33min 50sec. Second Heat—Antony 1, Alpha 2, Banshee 3. J. Spencer’s Reveille (2min) 4. E. Hodge’s Kea (smin SOsecJ 5. Time, 38min 30sec. The final result was: Alpha, 13 points, 1; Antony, 11 points. 2; Sure and Banshee, each 5 points (equal). 3.
