SHEEPSKIN SALE
DUNEDIN PRICES
DUNEDIN, April 4. ‘ A limited quantity of skins was offered at the sheepskin sale held today, when the usual bench of buyers was in attendance. Good full wool skins in all qualities met with a good sale, at prices showing little variation on the values ruling at the previous sale on March 21. Inferior sorts were, however, a shade easier. A full clearance was effected. The official range of prices follows:
OTAGO WOOL CHEQUE DUNEDIN. April 4. Gross receipts from the third wool sale in Dunedin on March 16 were £351,297 12s sd. With one more major auction to be held in this centre, the total wool cheque for Otago amounts to £1,012,871, compared with the £1,364,659 which comprised the proceeds from the four main Dunedin sides in the 1937-38 season.
