GOLF SEASON OPENED The ♦ opening of the season of the Charteris Bay .Golf Club, which took place yesterday, attracted a record number of visiting golfers in addition to a large attendance of members. Mr* R. Crawford (club' 1 captain) welcomed the visitors and members, and the. president (Mr R. Orton Bradley) declared the season open, and drove the first ball.
