AIR FORCE COMES OF AGE

CONGRATULATIONS FROM KING

(BBITISH OFFICIAL WIEELE3S.) RUGBY, April 1. The King has sent the following message to the Royal Air Force;— “On the occasion of the twentyfirst anniversary of the Royal Air Force, I send my congratulations and good wishes to all ranks of the service and to all employed in the Air Ministry. I have known the Air Fbrce from its earliest days, and I am proud to think its spirit remains unchanged—the spirit that has enabled it to surmount so many difficulties and rise, true to its motto, to even greater heights of achievement.”

Messages were also received from the Secretary of State for Air (Sir Kingsley Wood), Lord Trenchard, a former Air Chief Marshal, and the Chief .of the Air Staff (Sir Cyril Newall).
