GAOL FOR INTOXICATED DRIVER

James Reid, a farmer, who was found intoxicated in cnarge of a motor-truck, was sentenced to 14 days’ imprisonment with hard labour and his driving licence was cancelled for 12 months. A constable found the man in a very drunken condition behind the wheel,, with several bottles of beer on the seat. - ■
