WORLD MEMBERSHIP OF COMINTERN
MORE THAN A MILLION IN CAPITALIST COUNTRIES (Received March 13, 9 p.m.) MOSCOW, March 12. The secretary of the Comintern, M. Mamuilsky, reported to a congress of the Comintern that the membership in the capitalist countries was 1,200,000, and there were also 764,000 young Communists. He added that the British Communist party was the weakest in the world in spite of a membership of 18,000 and an increasing influence in trade union and Labour circles.
