RELIGIOUS RIOTS AT CAWNPORE

FORTY REPORTED TO BE KILLED

CAWNPORE, February 13

It .is estimated that 40 have been killed and 400 have been injured since the Hindu-Moslem rioting began on February 11. A curfew is being enforced and the military authorities have been given orders to shoot. Six hundred were arrested during the week-end rioting. Further clashes occurred this morning. Four cases of arson have been reported. Business is at a standstill.
