CZECH TREATMENT OF GERMANS
UNFRIENDLY GESTURE ALLEGED*
COMPLAINT MADE BY SUDETEN LEADER
PRAGUE, February 13. Herr Kundt, the Sudeten German leader, addressing German National Socialist deputies, said that the position of Germans throughout Czechoslovakia was untenable, and since M. Beran had assumed office as Premier had become steadily worse. Certain Czechs appeared to have learned nothing from last year. Attempts were being made to press Germans-elect to go to Germany, thereby eliminating them from Czechoslovakia. This was regarded by Germany as an unfriendly gesture.
M. Beran succeeded General Syi'ovy as Prime Minister on December 1.
