RANNERDALE PATIENTS ENTERTAINED
A very pleasant day was spent during the week-end by some of the patients and staff of the Rannerdale Home, when they were entertained by the Hawarden branch of the Returned Soldiers’ Association. Leaving Rannordale in the morning, the party was driven to Amberley, and then to Karetu Peaks, where morning tea was provided. The next stop was at Mr J. Cowie’s property at Woodgrove for dinner, Mj- A, Stevens thanked the members of the branch for the outing and Mr and Mrs Cowie for their hospitality. N On the return the cars travelled through the Waikari and Omihi valleys to Leithfield, where afternoon tea was served, ■ and so back to the city.
