NAVAL STOKER SENT TO GAOL
* r INTOXICATED IN CHARGE OF CAR
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, February 14. A stoker on H.M.S. Leander, Jack Colin Clegg, aged 24. was to-day sent to gaol for two weeks for being intoxicated in charge of a car in the city last ‘ night. On a further , charge of unlawfully converting a car to his own use, he was ordered to come up for sentence if called on within six months.
GAOL FOR INTOXICATED DRIVER
(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) HASTINGS. February 14. Albert James Ebbett, aged 42, a blacksmith, charged with being intoxicated in charge of a motor-truck, was sentenced to one month’s imprisonment. His licence was suspended for two years.
