AMBERLEY BRIDE HONOURED

Mrs S. Frew was hostess at a handkerchief afternoon party, given in honour of her niece, Miss Marjorie Frew, who is to be married this week. The guest of honour received many dainty handkerchiefs. Mr and Mrs W. Campbell and Miss E. McEwan gave a variety gift evening party at Mrs Campbell’s home in Roker street, Spreydon. in honour of Miss Edith Wootton, who is to be married this week to Mr Noel Turner. Cards, musical items and competitions were enjoyed and many gifts were received.
