POLISH THREAT TO LEAVE LEAGUE (Received January 19, 10.30 p.m.) GENEVA, January 18. Poland has threatened to walk out of the League of Nations if Professor Karl Burckhardt resigned the League High Commissionership in Danzig. It is believed that Gerjnany is prompting truculence. At a private meeting of three Danzig committee representatives, Britain and France did- not favour the resignation while Sweden favoured it. Dr. Nachum Goldmann, the accredited Palestine representative to League, urged Professor Burcks removal on the ground that k Danzig constitution was violated t* ® expulsion of the "Jews. It IS expected that Professor Burckhardt will remain.
