APPOINTMENT OF MR FRANK MURPHY (Received December 29, 8.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, December 29. The Washington correspondent of the “New York Times” states that Mr Roosevelt will appoint Mr Frank Murphy, the retiring Governor of Michigan, who is an active New Deal supporter, to be United States Attorney-General.
