GRANDSTAND DESTROYED BY FIRE
MELBOURNE, December 29. The grandstand at the Epsom raceccurse was destroyed by fire last night. The damage is estimated at £20,000. Races were held at Epsom yesterday, and it is believed that the fire was started by a cigarette.
