FRENCH BUDGET BILL

RELIEVING WORKERS OF INCOME TAX

PARIS, December 23. The Chamber of Deputies after an all night sitting passed the Budget Bill by 366 votes to 229, including an amendment exempting from income tax the first 7000 francs of workers earning less than 10,000 francs a year. This will cost the Treasury £1,200,000 a year.
