TO THI EDITOR OF THE PBEBS. Sir, —Everyone ought to know how to starve on occasion; a prolonged fast is an exact method to regain normal health. The three things most essential to health after a food rest, are chlorophyll (nature’s plant), oxygen, and iron, and these must be taken from fresh Nature’s foods and fresh air. This year. 1938, has taught me and my food healthers that “parsley is first and spinach and lucerne a close second. Every sports ground and golf course should have a patch (if each of these to be eaten raw: parsley 105 parts a million of iron, and spinach 60 parts a million.
