EFFECT OF RECENT BRITISH STATEMENT
(Received December 22, 7.10 p.m.) LONDON, December 21. Speaking in the House of Commons, Mr Ellis Smith (Labour) said that the statement issued by the Federation of British Industries had done more to undermine confidence in New Zealand relations with Britain than anything in the last few months.
