AMBERLEY BEATS SOUTH BRIGHTON

In the junior B section of the croquet competitions, played at Amberley recently. Amberley beat South Brighton by 159 points to 139. The individual scores were (Amberley names mentioned first): — Doubles —Mesdames Martyn and Rhodes 26, Miss Skipworth and E. J. Cooksley 8; Mesdames Sloper and Gee 26, Mesdames Day and Cockle 19; Mesdames Ford and Briggs 23, J. Bates and Mrs Campbell 26. Singles—Mrs Martyn 22, Miss Skipworth 26; Mrs Rhodes 15, Cooksley 26: Mrs Sloper 26, Mrs Day 8; Mrs Gee 13, Mrs Cockle 12; Mrs Ford 2, Bates 14.
