SLIP IN MANAWATU GORGE
(press association telegram.) PALMERSTON N., November 4. «After continued rain a further slip fell in the Manawatu Gorge yesterday afternoon, blocking the road .to Hawke's Bay from the Manawatu. As the slip continued to move it was impossible to effect a clearance last night, but by 8.30 this morning the road was again open.
