STATE OF PARTIES

TO TH« EDITOR OF THE PBESS Sir,—On page 14 of "The Press" today ycur sub-heading number two reads: "Labour Lost Two and Independents Four." I wish to direct you» attention and that of your readers to the fact that Labour entered the election battle with 54 members, Mr A. Campbell. M.P., and his electorate, Chalmers, having been eliminated. Labour emerged from the battle holding 53 seats; consequently that party lost only one seat, not two as your sub-heading indicated.—Yours, etc. J. HILL. Micks Creek. November 3. 1938.
