Slaughter. officer in charge of the Department of Labour, ISO men involved in the glass- , workers' dispute at Penrose returned to work to-day.-, The agreement is only temporary to give the Arbitration Court time to issue an award. The terms •of the temporary agreement include an annual holiday of a week for workers on weekly wages, and an increase, in,, wagea to certain sections of tb.6 hands and the youths. Representatives of the Federation of Labour, who attended the conference, promised to use their influence to obtain early, consideration of the award by the Arbitration Court.
