Various improvements to the grounds were referred to by the president of the Allenton Sports Club (Mr E. C. Bathurst) • when speaking at the official opening of the season for the bowling and croquet sections on Saturday afternoon. i He spoke of improvements to the greens and lawns, and said that additional shelters had been erected and also a storehouse for equipment. i
