PAPANUI BEAUTIFYING ASSOCIATION
—:—4, The annual meeting of the Papanui Beautifying Association was held recently, Mr. F. L.. Dfury presiding over a fair attendance. The election of officers resulted:—Patron, Mr R. E. McDougall; president* Mr T. Jeal; secretary, Mr E. R. Handcock; treasurer, Mr K. Wilson; committee, Messrs F. L. Drury, H.'-Tillman, A. Ashby, J- E. Yates, C. Thompson", and T. SturrocK; honorary auditor, Mr W. Baynesrdelesate to the Christchurch Beautifying Association, Mr K. Wilson. Votes of thanks for services to the association over many years were passed to Mr and Mrs E. Eggleston, who were retiring from the committee, also to Mr M. J Barnett for his work in beautifying, the city. ' |
